Illustrated by Reyna Noriega, the image eschews details for large, bold patches of color with no outlining.

NYPC New Yorker puzzles are highly prized among collectors -- and rightly so, as they are terrifically fun. Some of my absolute favorites. The words can be tricky at first, but they become easier after you've done a few of them and get familiar with the curves and angles of the different letters.
